Vasa, Bella, and Finn got a special treat today. Due to last week's windstorm, the Christmas trees that adorned the mastheads of the ships at Mystic Seaport Museum had to come down to protect the ships and visitors. Turns out sheep love to eat pine trees (as long as they have not been treated with preservatives or fire retardant.) As the trees that are put on the ships come from a dormant tree farm they are perfect for a sheep snack- and the sheep sure look excited to help recycle a tree that has flown from the top of the Charles W. Morgan!
Congrats on all that you have achieved at Blackburn Farm!
